I have been looking to do what is called a "Tickle liposuction" I have 2 kids, 33 years old, 5'2" and 135lbs. I have always had a belly (and weird shape on it) doesnt matter how skinny or how much I weight. I do not want a Tummy Tuck because of the scar and because I am known to form Keloids in them. I have never had any procedure done and im looking to do it in my stomach and flanks/love handles. Will I have a lot of saggy skin? Is there anything else I can do for that? Thank you for your advice!

Answer: Realistic Expectations Thank you for your question. I agree with several of the other surgeons; the "Tickle Lipo" or any other marketing term is not substantially different from other forms of liposuction. Liposuction removes fat; it does not tighten skin. You can expect to see some improvement on your flanks and you can have some subcutaneous fat removed from your abdomen, but based on the images you sent, you have loose skin on your abdomen that will only be further exaggerated after subcutaneous fat is removed. If you know this ahead of time and still do not want to go forward with an abdominoplasty, you might be satisfied with liposuction. I just always stress the importance of realistic expectations to patients ahead of time so patient satisfaction after surgery is high. You are a great candidate for a tummy tuck, and even if you experience keloids, there are treatments (laser, steroid injections, silicone sheeting, to name a few) that I've seen help tremendously with keloid scars. Best of luck.

Answer: Liposuction for improved tummy contour #plasticsurgery #liposuction You appear to be a good candidate for tumescent liposuction of the abdomen, waist and hips. The 'tickle' descriptor is a marketing term and has zero impact on the type of cosmetic result you can expect. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon with hundreds of liposuction cases for the best possible cosmetic result.
