How can we treat new stretch marks after tummy tuck? (Photos)

I did not have many stretch marks after my BL/TT but I am now 5mpo and am getting new stretch marks ever day especially in the past two weeks. Aside from swelling here and there my weight has not fluctuated much. I was trying to deal with it but to wake up every morning to new ones is heartbreaking. I tried all kinds of oils and creams and even starte taking collagen pills. How do I make these new stretch marks stop from developing? Please help.

Stretch marks are actual breaks in the inner dermal layer of the skin.  We still do not fully understand why some people get them and others don't.  There are no known consistent effective preventative treatments for stretch marks.  One option I have employed in my practice is Carboxy treatments.  This is an injection of CO2 gas into the stretch marked dermis.  In many patients this can cause thickening of the dermal layer and frequently improves the appearance of the stretch mark.  I have employed this after tummy tucks with good results most of he time.  The situation you are describing is not unusual and can also happen after any procedure that stretches the skin such as a breast augmentation.
