So I keep being told I'm still just really swollen.. but my belly button is a triangle and I'm worried it won't turn round.. all my docs t.t pics of before an afters the belly buttons are perfect.. what is wrong with mine .. (2 an 1/2 wks post op)

Hello and thanks for your question. It is not uncommon for your belly button to get a little swollen immediately after a tummytuck. Sometimes, the belly button can take on a little bit of a weird shape in the first few weeks but this this usually goes into a rounder shape as the swelling subsides. It’s too early to tell if your belly button will remain triangular or not. Be patient and I think you will be very pleased in the end. Best regards.

There is nothing wrong with yours.  I make all my belly buttons triangular at first.  That will typically give a little bit of hooding above the belly button that will yield a more cosmetically attractive belly button. I think round belly buttons look peculiar and stand out like a bulls eye.  Give this time.  Discuss with your surgeon.
