I would like to get a better jawline, would fillers be a good alternative to implants or sliding genioplasty

For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. Thank you for your question. Yes, fillers can help you in this regard. Nonsurgical chin augmentation is done with injectable dermal fillers like Juvederm and Radiesse. Dermal filler is injected into the area. Results are almost immediate, and you’ll be able to see if the added filler has achieved your desired look or if changes need to be made. The whole process generally takes two 15 minute visits&mdash;an initial visit and follow-up&mdash;and though some tenderness may occur, patients can typically leave satisfied and pain-free after the first visit.

Yes, if you are not interested in a surgical procedure at this time, dermal fillers would be a good option to enhance the chin and jaw line.  Most fillers will last about a year.  If you like the results, bellafill is a filler that lasts about 5 years and might be a good option for you to try.

Dermal fillers can certainly be used to sculpt the appearance of the chin and jawline, although this can sometimes be a difficult area to treat with fillers.  As for chin implants or surgery; these can certainly be of benefit, but are considerably more expensive, involve the risks of surgery and anaesthesia, and may have variable lengths of "downtime". Conversely, the outcome of these surgical treatments may be more pleasing to you in the long term. Injectables often can't compare to the outcome of surgery, but have the benefit of being lower risk, quick, and more easily reversible.
Ultimately your treatment will depend on your own aesthetic goals, the experience of your injector or surgeon, and your budget. I would recommend a review with an experienced injector and surgeon who can assess you in person (as a two-dimensional photo doesn't tell the "full 3-D story" of your face), discuss your goals, and formulate a treatment plan.

Fillers are a very good option to even the chin and the jawline. I have several patients that like the results. Most fillers will last 9-18 months. I would at least give fillers a try to see how you like the results prior to doing permanent implants.
