Is this too much filler for my chin? (photo)

Question

I just did chin filler and nose filler. Photo attached is a day after getting chin and nose done. My concern is i feel like my chin is too long and i look terribly weird. Is this just swelling or too much filler? If swelling, roughly how many days will take for my chin to look normal and not this long? The purpose of doing chin filler is to have a v shape features. Please help, thank you

It depends how long ago you had the fillers put in. You need at least a week or two before you get the final results. If it’s swelling it will go away and if the problem is the filler you can get it dissolved if your filler is hyaluronic based.

Hello, without knowing how much filler was injected and just going by the photo you provided, I would say your result is stunning and beautiful. Give it a full 2 weeks for the swelling to completely resolve before deciding how you feel about the result. It really looks well done and not at all excessive from the photo. I would strongly caution you against considering reversing the filler, though, as this can be unpredictable and uneven. It is common for patients to feel the enhancement is exaggerated immediately after treatment because it is different. And very often, once they get used to it, they decide they want more filler to achieve the more full look they had when the area was still a little swollen. I think you will be delighted once you get used to it and after the swelling has gone!

Without a “before” picture to compare your “after” picture to, it’s difficult to say whether or not your fillers seem to have helped achieve your goal. That said, at just a day after getting injections, it’s likely that you’re still experiencing some swelling, so try to be patient for another few days and see if you start to notice improvements. Keep in mind that it can take up to two weeks to see the full effects of your fillers. Good luck.
