Mole removal begins with a comprehensive examination and consultation to determine the likelihood of a mole being worrisome. Excisional and incisional biopsies are reserved for suspicious moles. But it’s good news that most moles are not problematic and are only cosmetic, thus leading to the option of scarless or non-surgical mole removal with lasers and RF and plasma. Dear YSYAO~Thank you for sharing your photo. I'm sorry that you didn't get the result you were looking for. Unfortunately it looks as if you have a depression at the site of the excision that is unlikely to improve with time. The area may have stretched as it healed, or you may have had a deep tissue defect that didn't become apparent until the swelling resolved. The area could be improved with a needle subcision and filler placement, or a surgical scar revision.  A scar revision would be more definitive but require a longer healing time.Best wishes,Amy Hsu

Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear of your scarring. Best to be seen by a plastic surgeon in consultation to closely examine your scar in order to offer the best treatment option.  You may benefit from local skin care, or may need more invasive procedures such as subcision and filler placement, chemical peels or a surgical scar revision.  

You had a lesion removed and the area healed by secondary intention leaving a depression.  My suggest is to fill the depressed area with a filer.  My choice would be BellaFill which lasts 5 years and is FDA approved to treat facial scaring.
