Always best to check with your doctor about restrictions in activity or sleeping position, but i would recommend maintaining the steristrips in place with a gauze cover and a good supportive garment while sleeping to avoid tension along the incision in order to allow it to heal quickly. I don't know about you, but I have little control how I move my body when I am asleep.   If you have steri-strips in place, you should be ok.
