Hello! I asked a while ago on how to fix my eyes protruding. And I have since had blood work and physical examination of my eyes. And I have nothing wrong with my thyroid and they say I am healthy and have no diseases regarding them. So I wondering now what can help with my eye profile and pushing them back a little? and also fixing my overall eye area? orbital decompression and canthoplasty or canthopexy? jaw surgery to fix my overall area? Infra orbital implants? i would love some help and advice please!

Hello vampirechick72627373, you have done this in exactly the right order. Getting your thyroid checked and an eye examination first was the correct move, because thyroid eye disease is the thing that must never be missed with prominent eyes.

With that excluded, prominence is usually about the relationship between the eye and the bone around it: relatively shallow orbits or a less projected cheekbone and infraorbital rim make a normal eye sit forward. That is why the operations you list do very different things. Orbital decompression genuinely moves the eye back, but it is major surgery inside the orbit with real risks including double vision, and purely cosmetic decompression is something I would only ever discuss in highly selected cases with an orbital specialist. Adding skeletal support in front of the eye changes the balance rather than the eye itself. Canthopexy alters lid position and shape, not projection.

Which of those conversations is right for you depends on measurements, an in-person oculoplastic examination and usually imaging of the orbit, not on photographs. My honest advice: take your normal blood results with you and see an oculoplastic surgeon in person before considering anything irreversible, and treat decompression as the last conversation, not the first.
