Based on the description of the septoplasty surgeries with changes to the appearance and use of ear cartilage, it seems they did a rhinoplasty as well. In either case, the tip can be modified, the nostrils supported, and also reduced to give a more aesthetic architecture. This would require cartilage from the other ear and maybe even rib cartilage (either irradiated cadaveric or from you).I do these under local, even the more difficult revisions using ear and/or cadaveric rib cartilage. Rhinoplasty can be done to smooth out the tip and improve the nostrils and pretty much address anywhere you wish. These procedures can be done under local anesthesia if you don't want to have general anesthesia.
