I am a fit 58 year old that was a sun lover for too many years before I wised up a few years ago. Suddenly, I have horrible sagging, crepey skin on my lower back, stomach, upper arms, front thighs and knees. Back thighs are tight. I do not have a fat issue at 98 lbs; will bodytite tighten those areas or is it for only fat reduction? Too young to be this wrinkled!
Answer: Can BodyTite treat crepey skin? BodyTite is a great technology for tissue shrinkage and would improve your areas of concern to give an overall less loose appearance of the tissues. However, this technology does not treat crepey skin and skin surface redundancy, wrinkles, or stretch marks.

Answer: Can BodyTite tighten crepey, sagging skin without fat removal. Thanks for your question and pictures. You are right that BodyTite is often combined with liposuction to help improve the results of the procedure. However, BodyTite can be performed by itself to help tighten loose skin only. Very nice improvement can be obtained with this modality and it is a procedure that can be done in the office under local anesthesia only. Make sure you meet with a board certified plastic surgeon.

BodyTite does not remove any fat, but it is capable of producing a 45% contraction in tissues. Liposuction is often times used on conjunction with the Body Tite but only if the patient needs it. Because collagen growth takes time, most patients will see some tightening around 3 months after the procedure and continued improvement for up to a year for an average of 30% total tightening.
