Back pain with larger implants?

I would return to your plastic surgeon and re size. If you think the 500cc implants look good on your frame then use those. They will weigh about a pound each but there is no way to tell if you will have back pain until they are in and you experience that weight.

Although numerous large-breasted women with back pain get relief of those symptoms after breast reduction, I find it very uncommon for patients with implants in the neighborhood of 500 cc or larger to complain of back pain after breast enlargement. I am not sure how you decided upon 500 cc. My preference for sizing is to ignore, as much as possible, cup size and to have my patients try on implants, and to use that info to choose an appropriate size and contour. 500 cc does seem rather large for a woman of your size. If you were a D during nursing and had no back pain and liked the size, it might be reasonable. There is no magic threshold below which you can be certain of not having back pain. All the best.

It is doubtful that you will have back pain with 500 cc implants.  Try on sizers in your plastic surgeon's office for an understanding of the volume to be added.  Best wishes!
