I am 6 days post op and I have a blister like thing on my nipple (it was under the tape). What is it?

If done correctly, your breast should appear very strange after surgery. Over time though, they will settle and appear more normal. You just need to wait 6 weeks to 6 months to see the final result. The flip side is, if they look perfect right after surgery, you may have a problem.

I allow my patient's to remove their dressings and shower 2 days after their surgery, I give them detailed instructions for their suture care. However, each surgeon has their own post operative instructions, it is best for you to follow what your surgeon advises. Good luck.
