I am 6 days post op and I have a blister like thing on my nipple (it was under the tape). What is it?

Hello,It is common to develop mild blistering of the skin secondary to the adhesive tape used after surgery. I would suggest following up with your plastic surgeon for evaluation to remove the tape and make sure that you are healing correctly.Good luck.

Most likely this is an allergic response to the tapes, but it could also be a marker of skin injury from inadequate blood supply to the nipple with implants of that size. A call to your surgeon to be evaluated is in order. All the best.
