How should I carry books/laptop after breast augmentation?

Hello. I am a student and I have summer classes a week after my surgery. I was curious how I can carry books afterwards? Can I still use my backpack or should I invest in one of those roller bags?

Thank you for your question.  It is ideal to avoid heavy lifting after a breast augmentation.  A backpack with shoulder straps shouldn't cause any issues but may be quite uncomfortable over your pectorals muscles by the shoulders.  A roller bag is a great way to keep you comfortable!Best of luck.

I would recommend being cautious carrying a heavy bag of books only one week after breast augmentation.  You may also find it difficult to put a backpack on for a few weeks after surgery because the straps might cause pressure on your chest.

Carrying a laptop and heavy books 1 week after surgery would be too soon. You should wait at least two weeks. A roller bag is a great idea. Good luck!
