560 cc & 585 cc , does everything look normal ? (photos)

Question

Pre small C cup I wanted to have 500 cc implants ,under muscle,he did say my left breast was slightly bigger ,Do they settle at different times or are my breast going to be abnormal ?he put 560 cc in my left&585 cc in my right . He is a very experienced highly recommended Plastic surgeon.@my 3 day post op visit he said everything looked good&swelling is what I was noticing , he said I could start wearing other bras so I wore the sports bra, but now I have put back the bra he cut out At surgery.

Congratulations on your surgery.  It appears that all looks normal for what you would expect right after surgery.  Implants tend to be high riding and hard to the touch in the beginning and it general takes about 6-8 weeks for things to soften up and settle into position if you had smooth implants placed.Make sure you listen to your doctor's advice and give yourself adequate rest for recovery.Best wishes to you!

Hi.  As far as I can tell from your photos, your recovery seems to be quite normal.  Post-op swelling, which can cause some asymmetries, is expected for the first few weeks.Of course, it's always best to call your surgeon directly with any concerns you may have.All the best,

Hang in there! As long as the shape and feel are improving week to week, however slowly, there is still hope for the final outcome. Ask you plastic surgeon if there are any compression garments, stretches or massaging exercises that can help guide your recovery.

Appears as very good early result. What you fail to see is that your before shows a slight asymmetry thus a large implant only magnifies this difference....

Most women have breasts that do not match exactly. Sisters, not twins, is the general rule. So it is often necessary to use differently sized implants to give a better results. When this is the case, you have to keep in mind that technically, you have now had two different surgeries (one on each side), and therefore each side will heal and settle at a different rate (the "drop and fluff" that some people refer to). This is especially true in your case, as it looks in your preop photos that you have a fair amount ptosis. All in all, you look good this early, and it will take time for your breast to settle, loose the swelling, and for you to feel comfortable with your new look. As always, keep you surgeon up to date with your progress and let him or her know of your thoughts and concerns.
