Strange pain in breast after Capsulorrhaphy. Will this go away eventually?

Thank you for your question.  It is not abnormal to have pain 2 weeks out from such a big operation.  The sutures are placed along the bottom and side of the breast and go into the muscle and sometimes the rib.  This causes some discomfort and takes several weeks to go down and away.  Burning is often nerve irritation and this subsided over several weeks.  Best of luck.

Two weeks after an operation as substantial as a capsule correction pain is to be expected. Nevertheless you should report this to your own surgeon.

Your description of pain is very normal after a capsulorrhaphy.  I tell patients that capsulorrhaphy is one of the more uncomfortable surgeries we do.  It usually takes around six weeks for the pain to subside.  Give it time.  Call your surgeon if things get worse.  Best wishes.

The discomfort is normal and should eventually subside with time. The pain you are experiencing is from the tacking sutures placed inside the pocket. The bra provides support for the breast, and when your support is removed, and weight from the implants on the tacked area of the pocket causes that burning sensation. During this procedure numerous permanent support sutures are placed, and usually the pocket is overcorrected knowing with time the pockets will relax some. Once they begin to relax you will notice that the discomfort improves.
