When fillers don't work? Tried Botox and Juvederm.

Thank you for this question. Dermal fillers and neuromodulators create more subtle changes in the face and not the dramatic changes surgery creates. The problem with surgery is that "dramatic" many times looks overdone or "surgical". I don't think you can asses your results without looking at before and after photos of the changes. One possibility is that you did not have enough product or the product chosen is not the right one for you.I suggest you make an appointment with your injector and have the opportunity to review your before injection and after injection photos. Both of these products are excellent, but next time you should consider alternative products. I think the most capable dermal filler for cheeks and mid face is Restylane Lyft. If the Botox did not do well then consider Dysport. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)

Not sure what happened or what you were expecting because there are no photos. Fillers will soften depression and nor erase lines. Botox in select areas will soften lines but not necessarily effaced them completely.
