Can I get microneedling a few days after Sculptra?

I'm planning to get Sculptra from a different provider than where I do my micro-needling, and I was wondering if I can get the needling a day or few days after my Sculptra injection? Or would this damage the collagen? Also, is doing micro-needling monthly always bad for skin? Or it can cause raised scars over time?

Thank you for your question. It is safe to get microneedling after a Sculptra treatment - Sculptra is typically injected much deeper than the standard microneedling procedure can reach. As far as monthly microneedling treatments, it will depend on the depth of your procedure, the expertise of your provider, and the goals you hope to achieve. When microneedling is performed correctly, it should not lead to skin damage.

sculptra can be done on the SAME DAY as microneedling and I find that micrnoeedling RF does better for the collagen building. also, peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten and emerageskin aerify help to speed up collagen improvement and increase the healing process while preventing hyperpigmentation. There should not be any problem with having a micro needling treatment after a Sculptra treatment.  The micro needling should not affect the Sculptra results.  There are many different types of micro needling.  Some use radio frequency and some do not.  There are also different systems and depths, so it is difficult to say if monthly micro needling treatments might be bad for the skin.  If the treatments are performed correctly, they should not cause any scaring.

I would give it some time before you get micro needling just to let the sculptra settle. Microneedling is totally fine once a month. Just make sure that it is the right treatment for you and consult with your doctor first.
