Mole on center eyebrow. Can it go away or shrink? (Photo)

Question

I been diagnosed with a melanocytic Nevi center of eye brow. It has grown over the years as I've gained weight. Will it shrink if I lose weight? Can it be removed? I been told if I remove it my eyebrows won't be even one will be higher, no hair growth, etc.

this will need excision and likely put a scar between your brow I would pre treat with roller and latisse and then laser post treatment at 3 weeks.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thanks for your question!  This doesn't look exactly like a "melanocytic nevus" which is a dark colored mole.  You may have a small amount of hair missing but cosmetically, I think it would be better than the mass you have growing there (and you could always get hair transplanted in if it really bothered you).  I would recommend seeing a dermatologist or plastic surgeon and pursuing excision further.Hope this helps!Take care,Dr. Lisa
