Raised facial mole removal by shaving or excision: which method is ideal to remove mole from above lip? (photos)

Asked By:Lou.H in Boston, MA

I want to minimize scarring and preserve my ability to grow facial hair, but it is more important to remove it. I was advised against radiowave because I have pigmented skin and it might cause hypo/hyper pigmentation. Would shaving work for this mole? What is the healing time for any method of removal? Are there other approaches that would achieve great cosmetic results? What scar can I expect?
