If i were your potential patient, which procedure would you recommend? Im thinking a lower body lift with lipo 360, inner thigh lift, breast lift with implants and a arm lift. I will be taking at least 3 months off work so I prefer one long recovery having multiple procedures at once. Thanks in advance...
Answer: Safety as priority You must acknowledge because of SAFETY, plastic surgery procedures should never last over 5-6 hours, every single hour after that time will increase dangerously the risk of serious complications, so the idea of having multiple procedures at once is now NOT recommended, based on the Worldwide recommendations to prevent DVT and PE for instance. So all of your procedures must be staged. Another SAFETY measures will be: BMI below 30 by the time of your surgery, no more than 1-2 litters of fat liposuction in combination with other procedures, do not perform in different body areas at a time, minimum of 12.5 grs of Hemoglobin, all lab work beyond perfect. So a great plan will be: 1.-Lower body lift with real buttocks lift and outer thigh lift and a bit of liposuction to waist and lovehandles. 2.-Breast and arm lift 3.- Thigh lift with liposuction to thighs6 Months in between stages.Be encouraged!!! Y truly believe you want to return to your loveones safe and sound and MORE BEAUTIFUL, so look for a Board Certified PS, with wide experience in After Weight Loss Surgery.Dr. Cardenas

Answer: Order of Procedure for 360 Circumferential Lower Body Lift, Thigh Lift, Breast Implants and Arm Lift Thank you for your question regarding what procedure would be best and in what order they would be best performed. I would suggest you undergo a 360 circumferential lower body lift. This would include tummy tuck, pubic lift, muscle plication, hip lift and reduction, and buttock lift and reduction. I think you could also have a longitudinal, vertical medial thigh lift during this surgery. During your thigh lift, thigh liposuction would be performed in addition to an incision from the groin to the knee. Please give yourself at least one month to heal from this procedure when embarking upon the second stage. Your second stage procedure would be a breast lift with an arms reduction. Your breast lift would require an anchor incision around the areola down the front of the breast and underneath the breast. Your arm reduction would include arm liposuction and an incision from the armpit to the elbow. In terms of implants, that depends on you. Do you want your breasts bigger? If you are happy with your breast size, I don't think you need implants.

Answer: Multiple procedures Congrats on the weight loss!! Given the areas of concern that you have, I'd recommend two procedures. First a lower body lift and arms, second breasts and thighs. You want to make sure you're at your goal weight prior to surgery. Ideally your BMI should be below 28, but 28-32 also acceptable. You appear to have plenty of breast volume so implants may not be necessary unless you want to be much larger that you are when in a bra. I think 4-6 weeks off per procedure is adequate.
