Fat transfer to face, how soon after Juvederm filler?

I would like to have fat transfer to my face in December, however I had filler done at the end of March. Will I need to wait for the filler to completely disappear from my face? I will be seeking consultations from board certified surgeons starting in July.

You can do either or both on the same day.  I suggest a formal consultation with an expert in fat injections and go to someone that uses PRP with the fat to prolong the effect/increase longevity.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Facial fat transfer can be performed at any time during or after Juvederm therapy as long as different areas are treated with fat and Juvederm. If patients wish to have the same areas treated, then I would suggest waiting at least 12 months after last Juvederm injections.

In general, Juvederm lasts for about 9-12 months.  You can have hyaluronidase injected which will dissolve the filler sooner if you are in a rush to have the surgery, but I would personally recommend waiting at least a year after the filler has been done before having the fat transfer. No I don't think you need to wait until the filler is completely gone.  By 9 months after your filler treatment, much of it should be gone and if there is any question hyaluronidase can be used prior to fat grafting to remove any residual Juvederm.
