Thank you for your question. The answer is...it depends. If you are looking to use excess fat from your neck region to restore lost volume from the brow, eyes, or cheeks, then yes, fat grafting is possible. If, however, you are looking to reposition tissues that time and gravity have caused to sag, then a facelift would be a better operative procedure.
Hello, and thank you for this question. Without any pictures it is more difficult to answer this question, but as a general rule fat can be repositioned with surgical lifting. In addition to that, it is more common to fat graft the areas where there are some volume deficits
In general I would say "not exactly". For one, if you have fat in your "lower" face I would be very cautious about using liposuction to remove that. In my experience, liposuction is great for the neck but should be used with caution in the face per se. Also, if you want fat in the "upper" face; I would prefer that fat be grafted and come from a donor site such as the abdomen, flanks, or buttock area. I find for fat grafting to work well, you want a reasonable amount of "donor" fat- and I find the lower part of the body a better donor area than the face & neck. I hope this helps you. Always do your research and find someone who does a good number of fat transfers and can show you many before and afters. Best of luck.

Do NOT overcorrect with fat grafting. It is possible that multiple treatments might be required to maintain the ideal fullness you desire. Perhaps not, but it is critical not to over-correct. The look of an over-filled face is undesirable in anyone, but it is particularly important not to...
