What do I eat after Lipo and fat transfer to flutes?

Not all fat is created equal!  As we have all observed, different areas of the body suck up calories to different degrees.  That's what makes our "problem areas".  The lower belly an the hips are a typical problem for most.  That fat is the first to come and the last to leave - ideal for fat transfer.  Dieting after surgery is not a goo idea.  You need high density nutrients (preferably plant based and organic!) to heal.  Restricting sodium and pushing protein is a sound strategy.  Therefore, it is important that your surgeon use a homogenous mixture of fat for the transfer.  Otherwise, butt cheeks made from districtally different lipo areas may absorb or gain weight differently, creating buttock asymmetry.

It is best to eat a hi protein, low salt diet after surgery.  Nothing can be done to preserve the fat that was transferred, just technique and skill of the surgeon injecting matters most.  Best, Dr. Emer.

The most important diet after surgery is a balanced diet .  Typically 30% of fat grafts get absorbed by the body which is why we over fill as much as we can.  Protein is very important during tissue healing, and also following your Dr's post op instructions regarding body positioning .
