With the right lift, the areolae can be made smaller. I would search for the surgeon who youfeel is most likely to give youthe best results. Look at reviews and before and after pictures on thatsurgeon's website. Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
You can request that your areolar dimension be reduced during breast lift and implant surgery. With certain types of breast lifts if the areola is decreased it usually remains smaller than before.

A peri-areolar or vertical breast lift both involve making an incision around the areola. A circular marker is used in the operating room. The marker has a set diameter and is used to mark the areola so that it can be made smaller. If you are having a periareolar or vertical breast lift, then your areola should decrease in size. It's important to discuss your goals with your surgeon, so that he/she can help you obtain them.
Thanks for your inquiry. If you are having a vertical mastopexy or peri-areolar mastopexy then your surgeon will have the opportunity to reduce your areola size. Please discuss your goals with your surgeon.
The perceived size of areolas after a breast lift and implant surgery can vary. Generally, they may appear slightly smaller due to the tightening of the breast skin during the lift. However, the actual outcome depends on individual factors and the specific surgical technique used. It’s essential to discuss your preferences and concerns with your surgeon to ensure they understand your desired outcome.
Your question is a common-type that many patients ask but is really the opposite of the true situation. If your areolar size is of concern to you and would like them smaller, the question is what kind of lift and implant needs to be done to produce the sizze of areola I want? In other words, the surgery should be customied to the goals and desires of the patient. So your surgeon should incorporate your wishes into his techniques and then it becomes a matter of prioritizing your goals and the risks and compromises that need to be made to get you what you want.Robin T.W. The areola size should be able to be controlled a bit when a lift is performed in conjunction with the augmentation. If an augmentation alone was performed then the areola would spread.
For most people who receive enough protein in their regular diet, there would be little added value of a protein shake. I recommend my patients eat a well-balanced diet prior to and after surgery.
You suffered NAC (nipple areola complex) necrosis and secondary healing of it, unfortunately this is a terrible complication for you, it may happen and is doubtful to tell if your surgeon is to blame or not; I'd point out the extreme tension visible around your areolas due to the massive...
44wendall,At present the frontal photo shows proper nipple position. The permanent suture of the Benelli lift is necessary to limit or prevent how much radial stretch of the areola occurs after the surgery, though the scar width is not likely to stretch more than you see at present. I cannot...
