Hi msrojacks, I understand your concern. Based on your photos, a breast augmentation surgery should not have any direct effect on the placement of your chest tattoo. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Dear msrojacks, Thank you for your question. Due to the location of your tattoos, a breast augmentation in conjunction with a mastopexy should have no impact on the placements of the tattoos. As always, it is best to consult with your board certified operating surgeon. Best of luck!
Once you are examined and your incision requirements are demonstrated to you, you can be reassured that your desire to have breast intervention will not affect your tattoo. You will love the results of a breast implant. It looks like you may be able to get away with a level III muscle release to give you a markedly improved nipple position without more extensive incisions requirements. I would need to fully evaluate that circumstance in the context of a consultation to make that determination.
Thank you for your question and photo. Depending upon what one's goals are and the size and type of implants needed I would doubt one would have any changes to the skin above the nipple areola. Always seek a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.
Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. A breast lift with an implant can result in a very nice shape ifgood technique is used. This will not remove any part of your tattoo. The size, profile, and shape of theimplant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wallmeasurements, and soft tissue quality. This decision shouldbe based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both youand your surgeon. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommendthat you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon whocan evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Based on the tattoos' position, it shouldn't be affected by the implants.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Hi msrojacks, You should be okay. During a mastopexy, all the skin is removed around and below the areola. It shouldn't affect tattoos that high on the chest. Good question though!
Hi msrojacks and thank you for your question. Looking at the photo that you included, your tattoos (those visible) seem fairly high on your chest and it is unlikely that they will be impacted by breast lift incisions. With that said, the tattoo on your left chest is lower than that on your right (which rests just below your clavicle) so I would recommend discuss this with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. I wish you the very best and I hope that this helps!
Based on your photos I doubt that a lift with implants would do any harm to your tattoos. Your tattoos are high enough on your chest that they should be fine.
Hi,Thank you for your question and your photo. Simply put, your tattoos are relatively high on your chest. Properly placed implants or a lift should have little or no effect on your tattoos. This is something that you need to review with your surgeon.Good Luck,Beverly Friedlander, MD
Hi mimimi13, I understand your concern. While it is common to have a superficial separation of the wound at the incision site following a breast lift surgery, this must be closely monitored and make sure it does not become infected. You should follow your plastic surgeon's post operative...
Hi user3298161, Every surgeon has different preferences in post op care management, as this would depend on the various factors like the type of surgery performed, the type of anesthesia used, the type and size of implant used, and the surgery technique performed among others. It would be best ...
Hi samschmidt88, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the early stages of the healing process. You will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has...
