I am 3 weeks post op from my breast lift with implants. When is it safe to sleep without a bra on?

Hi user3298161, Every surgeon has different preferences in post op care management, as this would depend on the various factors like the type of surgery performed, the type of anesthesia used, the type and size of implant used, and the surgery technique performed among others. Thank yoyu for your question. Every surgeon will have his/her own preferences as to recovery for specific procedures. It's best to follow your surgeons specific advice post-operatively.  I have patients wear a soft bra after breast lift for a few weeks to splint everything, and at that point the scars are generally very stable and we move to normal bras and long term scar management.

Hi and thanks for your question. I would advise you to ask your surgeon this question. I typically tell my patients that they need to be in some type of sport bra/compression for 6 weeks to make sure that everything is completely healed in place, but all surgeons have their own protocol. Best,
