Thank you for your question and attaching a photo. From the photo it appears to simply be bruising that is resolving. Bruising starts our dark purple/blue and then as your body breaks it down it becomes yellow. This appears normal and your incisions look good from the photos. If you are concerned you should certainly see your surgeon. You should have a follow-up appointment scheduled in the next 2-4 weeks anyway I would think. In my opinion everything looks good and as expected. Again, if you get worried, please call your surgeon to have them take a look. Best of luck.
Hi mila031612, Thank you for your question and photos. It is not unusual to experience some bruising after breast augmentation surgery. Also, tightness may also be experienced as the tissues around the implants are still swollen following the surgery. It will resolve over time. The yellow appearance on your skin appears to be bruising that is resolving. However, if you experience significant change in the size of your breast and that the bruising persists, it is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for an in-person examination. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Dear mila031612, Thank you for your question. Based off of your picture, this looks as if this is just bruising that is dissipating and nothing to be concerned about. Bruising oftentimes takes some time to resolve itself completely and may also change in color as you are healing. However, I suggest following up with your operating surgeon so that he or she can address your concerns. Best of luck!
Thank you for your picture and questions. It appears that the yellowing of the skin might be due to bruising and the natural healing of the bruising. If you are concerned, it would be best to see your surgeon for an exam and evaluation.Best of luck!Dallas R. Buchanan, MD, FACSOwner & Board-Certified Plastic SurgeonVIVIFY plastic surgery
Hi. This is a resolving bruise. As the blood in the bruise is slowly absorbed, it goes through some color changes - typically, purple fades to greenish, then yellow is usually the last shade before it disappears fully.
