Late 30's and looking to improve upper thighs. I workout often but still have this upper thigh fat . It's partially genetic as other family members that are thinner have the same distribution. Not ready for thigh lift scars and my skin is not that loose, it seems more like fat. What are my options? Would lipo and some skin tightening technique work?
Answer: Thigh liposuction From your photos you can consider liposuction of the thighs. Adding J-Plasma may be helpful for skin tightening as well. As an in person consultation is always best, visit with a board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation. I've included a video on how J-Plasma works that I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Suggestions for Thighs Thank you for your question, your history, and your pictures. Since you specifically said, you do not want a thigh lift, your options are limited. The options include Morpheus 8, J plasma, and possibly liposuction with VASER. I would be very conservative with liposuction because you may have more wrinkles and dimpling due to further liposuction. In my opinion, your best results would be obtained with a thigh lift. Unfortunately, you do not want that procedure. Therefore, the next best option, in my opinion, would be Morpheus 8 treatment. You may need three or more treatments to effectively get the results that you desire. If you do embark upon liposuction, I would suggest you definitely have a VASER liposuction procedure, but the procedure should be minimal. Your surgeon should not be aggressive withthe technique because you may end up with more skin ripples than you currently have. I hope this helps answer your question regarding options to treat your thighs. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Liposuction and cellulaze Thank you for your question. Looking at the photos you have provided I would suggest doing some liposuction of the inner and outer thighs and some cellulaze. Liposuction will help reduce the size of the legs and cellulaze will help with skin tightening and cellulite treatment. Although cellulaze won't get rid of 100% of the cellulite we do typically see a nice improvement. I would suggest speaking with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and make a surgical plan. Best of luck to you.
