Would I benefit from a mini facelift combined with Sculptra? 33 y/o (photos)

Question

I recently noticed my nasolabial folds are getting more prominent, face more hollow and I dont have prominent cheeks as I used to. I probably need to get some volume back. I was thinking about Sculptra or fat grafting, but I think I would also benefit from some kind of facelift too. So maybe a combination of a facelift and Sculptra maybe ? I know I am still young, but when I pull my face with fingers I see that mini facelift would benefit me

In my opinion and experience, strategic fat transfer would be all you need. You don’t need a facelift.

Thank you for your question and photos. While you don’t appear to be a surgery candidate, you would likely benefit from fat grafting or Sculptra injections to restore lost facial volume. A fat transfer can add volume to your cheeks, nasolabial folds, and other areas of the face to create a smooth, supple, and youthful-looking appearance. Sculptra can also increase the body’s collagen production, improve skin laxity, and gradually increase facial volume over the course of a few months.

I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion (J Plasma), thread lifting,  and peels to get the most conservative, natural look. Based on your photos, I would say that you are not a good candidate for any type of facelift yet.  Adding volume to your face could produce some rejuvenation though.  This could be done with Sculptra or fat grafting.

I don’t think a facelift is indicated in your situation.  If you want to try injectables that’s fine. They’re costly however. Hard to imagine in your case it would be worthwhile but it’s up to you if you want to try it
