One eyelid wrinkling and hollowing? What can I do about this? (photo)

For the past 4 years or so (since I turned 24, I am now 28) one of my eyelids has become progressively more wrinkly and hollow. It looks really bad. I can now see the other one starting to hollow. What can I do about this?

I encourage you to begin by visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation.  If you have redundant upper eyelid skin you can consider an upper blepharoplasty.  We always recommend using medical grade skin care products like Transform MD and protecting the delicate eye area from the sun.

You may benefit from an upper blepharoplasty.  This will remove the excess skin and create more symmetrical appearance.

The hollowing near your nose has likely been there forever. You do, however, appear to have some excess upper eyelid skin, and an upper blepharoplasty, conservatively, to remove this skin, may be beneficial, depending on your examination. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
