Hi @isaaa2003. For the droopy tip with smiling, you can add a few units of Botox and/or filler to the area. I hope that helps :)
Thank you for submitting your question and photos. Muscle movements that occur when smiling can cause the nose to appear droopy, which can be reduced by weakening the muscle with Botox injections. Botox blocks the signal between a nerve and muscle, reducing activity of the targeted muscle. This process may reduce the pull that is causing the drooping effect you’re referring to. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified injector who can assess your concern and suggest the best option for you.
It's difficult to say without the benefit of a formal evaluation. This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Since the downward pull of the nose occurs with the motion of smiling, one can inject a couple of microdroplets of Botox at the appropriate locations at the base of the nose to diminish this. Novice, inexperienced Botox injectors are generally accustomed to the simple use of Botox for treating the frown (eleven lines) between the eyebrows. So, you would be wise to make certain to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist for your issue. Hope this helps and best of luck.
It is not that your nose dips when you smile but the smiling action pulling the lip up towards the nose. This can easily be corrected with a small amount of Botox being injected at the junction of the upper lip and the nose base. That should help you considerably. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
Thank you for your question and photo. Botox is an ideal solution for treating the overactive muscle that is causing the line you’re referring to. Lines, wrinkles, and creases can be the result of repetitive muscle movements that can deepen over time. Botox injections can target the muscle c...
Treatment for chin dimpling ("pebble chin" or "orange peel") is Botox injected into the mentalis muscle. This typically gives great improvement to the appearance of the chin. Results take about 1 to 2 weeks. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a board-certified cosmetic der...
Hello, I am sorry to hear about your distressing symptoms. I personally have not heard of those symptoms being reported after Botox injection. At the low doses used for cosmetic indication, Botox should only have a local effect on the facial muscles and should wear off in 3-4 months. I encourage...
