I’m 44 Y old F, Mediterranean genetic background, 2 c-sections on 2018 &2019. Scheduled tummy tuck at first, but teeth changed my mind and opted for BBL. My hope was to get flat belly and get rid of love handles. The butt was not my concern, but I’m happy with the improvement of the shape after the bbl. done 05/31/2022. I’m having ton of bumps on my belly, i did wear the faja and had the massages. I also had revunion during the procedure. Any recs? Thanx
Answer: Big Mistake You could have had everything; lipo, tummy tuck and fat grafting of your buttocks. I don't know why you didn't have the tummy tuck too (and no, you CAN lie on your back after fat grafting to your buttocks). Now you are in a situation where improvement of your abdominal skin contours will be partial at best, and the only way to make that improvement is with a tummy tuck. Only now, it will be a much more risky operation. It will require extensive removal and/or division of scar tissue, potentially devascularizing you tissues, which can lead to wound healing or tissue necrosis issues. I have all my tummy tuck patients that are in this situation to plan on extensive hyperbaric oxygen therapies for at least five consecutive days after surgery, including the afternoon of the surgery.

Answer: Abdomen An examination is needed to be certain, but you could have some small fat grafting done in the areas of indentations or Sculptra treatments. Go back to your surgeon and discuss your concerns and options.

Answer: Bumps on belly normal Dear assoum, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Poorly done Liposuction Delivering consistent quality liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe and this includes most plastic surgeons The truth is a substantial number of board-certified plastic surgeons with otherwise overall good reputations are not particularly good at Liposuction. Mastering this procedure is far more difficult than people believe and far too many plastic surgeons do not recognize the learning curve or what it takes to get quality results. Most plastic surgeons think they’re good at liposuction but the truth is quite contrary. A substantial number of plastic surgeons also don’t really like doing the procedure. Liposuction results are permanent and irreversible. Once performed it’s not possible to restore the body back to pre-procedure. This is why it is so important to properly vet plastic surgeons before committing to these procedures. My recommendation for doing so is to have multiple in person consultations during which patients should I ask providers to show their entire collection of before and after pictures. Being shown a handful of sample pictures most likely representing the best results of the providers career is totally insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider. Per riders may be apprehensive to show all of their results but patients should still ask for it. Recognize that you are the one hiring the surgeon you have a right to get confirmation of what their work looks like and how much experience they actually have. For reference and experience surgeon should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 sets of before and after pictures. highly experienced surgeons will have hundreds or even thousands of before and after pictures for Liposuction and fat transfer. Ask providers to show as many pictures as possible of patients with similar body characteristics to your own. Bring pictures of your own torso for the consultation for reference. As providers to show you examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes in less than outcomes. All of this it’s a little bit after the fact since you’ve already had the procedure and didn’t get a very good outcome. Personally I used the Renuvion device for about a year but found that it offered absolutely no skin tightening and only cost increased pain during an after the procedure. I thought the device was useless so I have since sold it. In your case there really is no procedure that can fix your abdomen Minor improvements could be had by doing revision liposuction, fat transfer and in some cases converting the procedure to a skin tightening operation it like a full tummy tuck. To make an assessment on the outcome of a procedure we need to always see proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures didn’t ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. Obviously the first person to follow up with is the surgeon who did your procedure. It would be helpful to know what he or she had to say about the outcome. If you opt to have a second procedure then you need to keep your expectations on the low side and be very selective on who you choose to do surgery. There is no simple procedure to fix your outcome. compression garments and postoperative massage do not change liposuction results. I wish I could give you a more optimistic assessment or recommendations but there is really very little that can be done to improve your outcome at this point. I suggest writing reviews that are honest and professional about your experience so other patients will know what type of experience and outcome you had in the hands of your provider. i’m sure you would’ve appreciated reading reviews of other patients who had similar experiences when it came to choosing your provider and procedure. The key to getting quality liposuction and fat transfer results as defined surgeons who have sufficient skill and experience and unfortunately those are pretty rare. Finding the right provider is a time consuming process and patience should not commit to permanent and irreversible operations until they have gone through the vetting process thoroughly.
