Am I too young for a neck lift? (Photos)

This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. There is no doubt that neck lift is necessary to correct neck and jawline. However, bulk of your cheeks will need correction of buccal fat pads and shaping (trimming) the area in front of the ears and posterior cheek. This is best achieved through a face lift incision in front of the ear; under direct vision an experienced surgeon can shape this area to give strong, masculine appearance to your face. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with excellent reputation in neck and face rejuvenation is recommended. Good luck.

Based on your photos and goals, I recommend you consider extensive liposuction along the entire neck below the jawline, along with possible fat removal deep to the platysma muscle in the front of the neck, A buccal fat pad removal in the lower cheek would narrow that area, creating a more triangular facial shape.  Whether a full necklift would help depends on the degree of neck skin looseness, which I can’t tell from your photo.  Although just the liposuction could improve jawline definition, tightening the skin with a lift could also firm and support everything.

Based upon the pictures you've sent, it looks like you might benefit from an anatomic chin implant, liposuction of the jaw and neck areas and some sort of skin tightening procedure for the lower face and neck. I would recommend seeing a board certified facial plastic surgeon in your area.

It seems like you can benefit from Chin Liposuction and BodyTite, Patients who opt for Facetite are seeking a more youthful look but do not want to deal with an invasive surgery, the scars of a face lift, or the recovery time.  Results of a face lift typically last about 10 years depending upon the level of undermining, level of support of deeper tissues, and amount of skin removed along with patient dependent factors; Facetite, about five, but it can be combined with Fractora to provide improve results over time. 

I would urge you to think about how long a procedure will last rather than your age. Technically speaking, no adult is “too young” for a neck lift, but having a procedure done at a young age can mean needing an additional lift later in life. I actually don’t think you need a neck lift, though. I think you could benefit greatly from neck liposuction to reduce prominence under the chin implant and fillers in the jawline, cheekbones, and temples to achieve that “chiseled” look.

  In our practice, a neck lift involves removal of fat deposits above and below the platysma muscle in additional platysma-plasty.  There is no skin tightening.  The photographs demonstrate fatty deposits located above and below the platysma muscle itself.  Liposuction can only accomplish removal of fatty deposits above the platysma muscle, while surgery is required to remove the fat deposits below the platysma muscle.  Once the sub-platysmal fat has been removed, the platysma-plasty is performed which significantly improves the jawline.
