What can be done to reduce my my wide neck?

Generally speaking you can't make a wide neck and are smaller with liposuction or even laser assisted liposuction such as slim lipo.  You might be able to make it look a little bit better but it's definitely do have limitations and if you're truly working on the lateral aspects of the neck you were jeopardizing some sensory nerves and potentially even motor nerves they can give you some prolonged issues. That being said we really did look at photos and an in person consultation with someone who performs neck liposculpture or liposuction regularly would be the most helpful to you.

It is very difficult, based on this single photo and short of in person exam, to figure out exact cause of your wide neck. It looks that your trapezius muscles (any history of intensive sport activity in the past?) is hypertrophic, as you can see in football players, for example. Surgical correction would be difficult and would involve visible scars. Once hypertrophy of the muscle is confirmed as a sole reason, one might consider treatment with Botox? In person consultation with 1-3 board certified plastic surgeons is recommended. Good luck.

The thick neck is not correctable by necklift as it is not because of loose skin but thick underlying structures like muscles etc. It will be futile to do a necklift. As long as you have had the thick neck all your life it is normal but if it has happened recently then you might need work up such as an MRI to figure out why the neck is thick.RegardsDr.J
