Toothache after botox - Can that be side effect from the botox?

I had botox done in my jawline 2 days ago. Since yesterday I have teethache, i feel something like pressure on my chin and mostly the teeth. Can that be side effect from the botox? Is it going to stop and can it harm my teeth? I also have some headache in the area of the upper part of the nose, between the eybrows.

There is possibility that the nerve was touched with Botox injection. This should be temporarily and it will get better within over time. If it doesn’t get better within a week, I would advise you to contact your provider just to be safe. When it comes to headache, it is frequent occurrence after Botox injection. It will usually go away within a week. Good luck!

When your botox was injected along the jawline, the only thing that occurs to me that could explain this pain you are feeling is that possibly a nerve was touched with the injection.  All injury to nerves from injections with needles are temporary and get better with time.  I would wait a few days and make sure to notify the doctor that injected your botox.   A headache after botox can occur and is a result of the injections.  This usually only last 1-2 days.  You may get a headache sometimes, but it doesn't mean if you get a headache once you will always get a headache.  Best of luck!

first of all be reassured that nothing is permanent and will go away. the headache is most likely due to the injections and will go away in a few days.  I am not sure about the toothache so give it a few days and it will probably go away as well
