I'm in my early 20s and want to address mainly the sagging in my arms and thighs. As much as possible I would want to avoid surgery because I don't want the scars. However, I am unsure if BodyTite will be enough. I am aware that surgery will give me the best results tightening wise but I want to know if BodyTite can deliver significant improvements.
Answer: BodyTite or skin excision Nothing removes skin better than direct surgical excision but this options also has significant risks (bleeding, infection, scarring, pain and so on). BodyTite can remove fat and tighten skin. The results, in many ways, depend on the experience of the doctor. BodyTite also can have complications and these need to be discussed prior to undergoing these procedures. Experience and training of the doctor is the key.I have been performing BodyTite Liposuction for over 7 years and it is s great technique for fat removal as well as skin tightening. Please make sure that you see an experienced doctor for a thorough consultation and assessment prior to undergoing any treatments.Best regards and I hope this helps, Dr. Sapijaszko (Fellow, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery)

Answer: Bodytite Thank you for your question and you pictures. From the photos that you provided, I believe that Bodytite will not give you enough skin tightening improvement to justify the cost. The surgery to remove your excess skin will give you a more dramatic improvement, but at the expense of a scar. I recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon to see what specific combination of procedures would best benefit you.

Answer: BodyTite Bodytite is a radio-frequency treatment which serves to tighten skin. This accomplished by subdermal heating of the collagen fibers which can cause tightening as well as stimulate fibroblast activity for collagen deposition. This can be combined with liposuction (but does not necessarily need to be). The fat removal component is no different than traditional liposuction. For those patients with excess fat in the absence of skin laxity Bodytite does not necessarily hold an advantage over more traditional liposuction. However, in patients with laxity or in whom there is a concern for worsening laxity post liposuction, a radio-frequency tightening will help. With regards to your specific question, Bodytite demonstrates a 30% tightening (vs. 7% liposuction, SmartLipo 15%). This result can take as many as 3 months to become evident. It is important to remember that BodyTite will not deliver a classic surgical result. However, for those unwilling to consider surgery it is a great options (especially for arms, where patients are traditional unhappy with the scarring postop). As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

Answer: Should I go for BodyTite or arm and thigh lift surgery? (Photos) From your photos, you appear to be a good candidate for BodyTite. BodyTite does not remove any fat, but it is capable of producing a 45% contraction in tissues. It can be combined with liposuction to improve contours dramatically. Results can be seen immediately after one treatment and are more evident over three to six months post-treatment. Wait until six months to fully evaluate the aesthetic results. Sedentary activities can be resumed in two to three days and full activity with exercise within two to three weeks.

Answer: Liposuction with a mini arm tuck would be best. Liposuction of the thighs/knees would do very well and the skin should tighten up a lot with the microcanulas helping but the arms need both lipo and a minituck where the incision is hidden in the armpits. That would make a huge improvement and be so worth it. Both are done under tum. local and you would be so happy.
