I had NeckTite 3 months ago. At my final follow up yesterday I expressed concern about the embarrassing loose skin that has not tightened. He said to get Botox and attributed this to the 6 pounds I have lost in 3 months. I paid him a lot of money to get this procedure, which he suggested. Is this how I’m supposed to look or should he fix it?
Answer: Neck Sag -- Fillers Like Belotero, Silk; Fraxel or Erbium Laser; Botox/Dysport/Xeomin; Sagging needs Neck Lift, Renvion/Vaser With significant neck sagging and muscle atrophy like you have you would need a neck/face lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). at the same time lasers (fraxel, co2 or erbium( or microneedling RF (fractora, intensif) can be . performed to improve the crepe skin or wrinkles. You need a formal consultation, as the neck can be treated with a combination approach: 1. micro needling and lasers for texture 2. botox, disport or xeomin to help platysmal bands 3. intensif or fractora RF microneedling for crepe skin and lifting 4. fillers like belotero, restylane silk, juvederm volbella to improve lines and folds 5. neck/face lifting if sagging is prominent or early starting +/- platysmaplasty (muscle tightening) 6. J plasma/Renuvion, thermiRF, inmode facetite for internal tightening 7. ultherapy and thermage for external tightening 8. regular Venus legacy, exilis ultra, or inmode forma treatments with facials to maintain tightness 9. PDO novathreads or silhouette instalift cone threads for lifting and long-term collagen production see an expert for a full evaluation and treatment plan based on your individual situation and goals. Answer: 3 months post. Is this what I’m supposed to look like after NeckTite? Concerned about loose skin that hasn't tightened. Hello Deborah,Great question. However, with no pre op images, I cannot provide an adequate examination. Results for Bodytite can be seen immediately after one treatment and are more evident over three to six months post-treatment. Wait until six months to fully evaluate the aesthetic results. Please contact a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed examination.

Answer: Did FaceTite (NeckTite) work on my neck? FaceTite by Inmode is a minimally-invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency to tighten the tissues under the skin giving a tighter appearance to the neckline and jowls. It cannot tighten looseness in the skin itself and it does not treat crepey skin. FaceTite is often done on those who don’t want surgery even if surgery would give the best result. But in those patients, that’s a big compromise and I tell them so. While FaceTite is a great treatment on the right candidate, it will never come close to the results achieved by a surgical facelift or facelift plus neck lift. Your final result won’t be evident for several more months, but the residual laxity in the skin will not change. FaceTite doesn’t treat that. FaceTite is effective within its indications and while I am certain that it did create some changes for you, I can’t tell what those were without seeing your before photos.

Answer: Full results take time! Thanks for including photos with your question! All radiofrequency devices take time for your full results to express. We usually tell patients to expect 6-9 months for total expression (generally, you heal about 10% per month internally). However, post-op requirements can make a big difference in your outcome as well; did your surgeon give you a compression garment to wear? If so, what was the timing like? As mentioned below, FaceTite is not going to achieve surgical results. Improvement is the goal, and acknowledgement that lesser results are the trade-off for lesser scars and downtime. Without before photos it's hard to assess the degree of improvement, but 6 pounds should not result in a tremendous amount of loose skin in just that particular area.Stay in touch with your surgeon and discuss your aftercare, and how you can bests optimize your results from here out. Should you still be unhappy with that area in 6-9 months, perhaps discuss a minor surgical option that will address that specific area. Best of luck!
