How can I get rid of the excessive redness quickly? (Photo)

I got a red blood mole burnt off my face over three weeks ago, the dermatologist who preformed the procude told me that it should be completely healed in 2 weeks. However, there is a huge red scar on my face now and I would like to know how I can treat it to reduce the redness or reduce the scarring

The picture looks a bit atypical and there may be an infection there. Best to follow up with your dermatologist right away. The choice of using stitches is based on many factors which your dermatologist can capably decide on.

It's difficult to tell from your picture. I recommend following up with your cosmetic dermatologist for a formal evaluation and after care recommendations. I recommend Silagen + Bioshield to promote healing. Scarring can be improved with lasers and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Its not unusual to have some swelling after a mole is biopsied or excised. As long as the area isn't red, painful, or discharging pus, or you have a fever, then infection is unlikely. If still present after 1 month, best to show your dermatologist.

Thanks for your questions and photos.  I agree that certain areas of the body may heal differently than others.  Given the appearance of your scars, I think you will get the best cosmetic result by having the scars excised.  You will be replacing these pigmented oval scars...
