I had some hairs transplanted to my temples, but they made the hairline too low, and I do not like the shape. Another doctor recommended moving the hairs further back. Would this not leave visible white dot scarring on my forehead?
Answer: Graft removal with replanting This is a reparative technique that I have performed many times before- it is called FUE graft removal with replanting, and when performed properly, can result in the removal of the entire unaesthetic grafts and leaves essentially no detectable scarring.Once removed, the grafts can be replanted typically higher up.I hope your question serves as a cautionary tale, that patients really need have their hair transplant performed by a true expert who understands not only aesthetic hairline design, but also appreciates that hair loss is progressive and therefore a conservative hairline is indicated. I have done too many of these reparative cases in the past several years, on typically young men who were not treated properly. I cannot encourage patients enough to do their research and find an experienced doctor.

Answer: Removing grafts from temples You need to see a doctor to scope out the problem and then discuss many of the solutions which could include FUE of the recipient area, laser hair removal or just excision of the part of the hairline you don't like. ?When I create a hairline with my patients, I always draw it on the head and get the person consent prior to doing the surgery because when it is made too low, it is a real problem because these hairs are permanent. See a doctor with experience in managing these complications from other practices, like mine.
