Thank you for your question. That is impossible to answer because every surgery is different. Usually with breast implants, my patients use very little pain meds, especially when they go over the muscle. Under the muscle tends to hurt more, especially when you use big implants.
It's hard to compare these procedures when they are so different and pain is unique to each person. For breast augmentation under the muscle patients will typically take 5-7 days off work. Narcotic pain medication is often used for the first few days to manage the discomfort. Most are back to regular pre surgery routines by six weeks. Recovery is a little easier if the implants are above the muscle. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.
Much less with hernia repairs on average. But each person has their own responses to surgical areas of pain!
Hi, This is a difficult question considering the variation of patient's threshold for discomfort/pain. Pain with breast augmentation usually decreases in the first several days but many last longer. Pain also can be more with a very muscular patient or a larger sized implant. Also, one must consider if the implant goes over or under (my preferred in all cases unless the muscle is absent (Polands Syndrome) the chest muscle. There is very little pain when the implant goes over the muscle but this is not a reason in my book to do this. Pain meds are made for pain. If you have it, take the pills. If not, go lighter with tylenol or something that treats discomfort. Comparing it to the pain of an umbilical hernia repair, I just cannot give you an accurate estimation

Do yourself a favor and do not step on the scale early in your recovery. Swelling is common and expected after your planned procedures and may show up as extra pounds on the scale. Do not panic. Your body will return to normal as healing continues. Be sure to eat healthy, balanced meals and...
A tummy tuck nor a breast augmentation will affect the volume of your buttocks. It may be a perception change since your tummy and breasts now look different and are still swollen. In any case the two procedures you had would not be the cause for changes in your buttocks volume.
