I am currently on my first cycle of a oral steroid called anavar and I am going to get some more Botox and lip fillers(juverderm). I am a little hesitant since I haven't found much information online about this topic. Please someone tell me if they counteract

Answer: Oral Steroids are safe before injections Thank you for a great question. The short answer is that there is no interaction between your oral steroid and you going to get Botox and fillers done. It might even help the swelling post procedure, as after lips get injected there is expected swelling the next day. It is safe and I would be very comfortable injecting you. Answer: Will a steroid affect my Botox or Juvederm injection There should be no change in your outcome from Botox or Juvederm when taking a steroid. You might have less swelling than normal as an added benefit.
