Is it normal? Should I go to a hospital or do I need to see a different surgeon?

I went back to see my doctor, he told me that it was perfectly normal. The fat that he injected or just coming out. Just come back in 3 weeks. Now both hips are draining I had to do a dressing on each wound. I have no pain, but discharge doesn't stop with foul odor. I have to put a pad on my bed for the drainage. I don't believe a word he says anymore. Should I go to a hospital or do I need to see a different surgeon?

I appreciate your question.

As someone who sits on the patient safety committee for The American Society of Plastic Surgery, my protocol would be to get an ultrasound with possible drainage of the area.  If too large and infected, may need surgical intervention.  At this time, I would recommend you go to the ER.

The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.

It is not normal for you to be draining after BBL. You should see your surgeon or another medical professional who is attentive to your concerns.
