Is this the start of an infection? Should I be worry about it?. Im 20 days post op tummy tuck surgery, next apt in 2 weeks or is this " normal" (part of the process)? I dont have any discharge only when i take a bath and the skin gets soft. The yellow thing im not sure what it is.

Always a good idea to go back and see your surgeon, even after 13 months. We generally love to get follow up even after a while. They can examine the area just to make sure there is nothing unusual like a cyst or something else there and confirm that it is just scar and nerve...
Thank you for your question.It can be challenging to pin down the cause of abdominal pain, and more so after someone has undergone surgery. While it's possible that you are having pain related to your ovary as you describe, it would be a good idea to look into the other possibilties....
I agree in part with Dr. Lawton. Compression can help speed healing by allowing the tissues to touch each other after surgery which can decrease the formation of fluid pockets. However, I am very cautious to tell patients only to apply it lightly snug like a sock, not tight....
