How long after a Tummy Tuck can someone get laser hair removal on the bikini area?

Follow up with your surgeon and ask them this question. Three months sounds like a safe answer but your surgeon  may be willing to move up that time frame. He or she know what they did at surgery and how your wounds are healing.

I usually ask my patients to refrain from laser hair removal for 3 months after a tummy tuck to allow everything to heal.

First ALWAYS best to ask your chosen operate surgeon. In my practice I would Ok IPL hair removal after 2 to 3 months healing time so the scar/incision has less of a chance to darken permanently from the laser.. 

If incision is healing fine, is a good idea to wait 4 weeks. Make sure the technician performing the laser is certified.
