I had an abdominoplasty a little over 3 weeks ago and I continue to be concerned about my belly button. At my follow-ups they have said that it's just healing slowly, but then today I noticed this white spot that looks like it opened up. I emailed the picture to my surgeon's office, but since it's the weekend I was hoping to get some feedback sooner.

Best to check with your doc. However in my practice providing the wounds are doing well, resumption of activity is usually OK after 10 to 21 days. Without touching the wounds it can usually be started towards the 14 days, touching everywhere will be 6 to 8 weeks.
First, the CRNA- is a nurse who provides anesthesia. An anesthesiologist is an M.D. who can provide the anesthesia service himself/herself or supervise the CRNA. In Florida, the surgeon is permitted to supervise the CRNA in the office surgery setting. I have done both, and with good experience...
