How long after rhinoplasty consultation will the actual surgery take place?

The short answer to your question really depends upon the availability of the surgeon to whom you are scheduling your surgery. Surgery schedules can vary and for some the summer season is busier and for others it is not. I would think in most cases if you consult in early July you should be able to schedule the surgery for a time that fits your schedule. Good luck in your area.

Typically rhinoplasty patients book anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months from the time of the initial consultation. I usually see patients at least twice before surgery. First consultation goes over the examination and aesthetic goals in order to identify patient's areas of concern and define the surgical plan. Preop and post op photos of other patients are reviewed and the patient will come to a decision regarding surgery at this meeting. The second consultation is usually a few days before the surgery when pre op and post op instructions are reviewed and any further questions are answered.

Oh, every doctor has his own waiting time, but if you plan on returning to school August 24, you will want your surgery no later than the first week of August.

every surgeon is different in terms of their schedule Usually the summer is a bit slower and scheduling is a bit easier.  End of summer is tough so you might want to book ASAP.

You really need to consult with a few boarded surgeons first. Also parents need to be present. Than chose who you like. Next it depends upon the surgeon's schedule to when the operation canbe done. In my office the fastest is 72 hours between consult and surgery in the best case serenio. 

This is entirely dependent on the ability to match your schedule with your surgeon's.  In a time-constrained situation we reserve OR time as soon as we know the patient's schedule so that when they arrive for consultation, if everything is as expected, the day for surgery has already been set aside.  Contact your surgeon's office and be sure that your schedule can be accommodated, and be sure to select a surgeon Certified bu the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Inc.  Ask to review his/her comprehensive portfolio of pre- and post-op photos so you can see the types of results that are reasonable to expect.
