What can I do about my Lipo burns on my back?? (photos)

This can be treated with bioshield wound healing cream and proper bandages (telfa and hypafix).  I suggest seeing your physician for a recommendation.  There is some bruising there but also some skin abrasions.  I cannot tell if this is just "healing" or a result of an energy based device or trauma to the skin.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Its hard to tell if these are from the surface down or from deep to superficial.  The former type will heal without much of any mark.  Its more like a rug burn, but a deep burn from below would mean that all layers of the dermis are affected and may need careful wound care.   Regardless you need to followup with your Dr. 

Some liposuction techniques use cannulas or probes (laser liposuction, ultrasound liposuction) that can generate heat. With these techniques, it is possible to get burns on the skin. I would suggest you seek evaluation by a local board certified plastic surgeon for advice regarding wound care of these wounds. If the wounds are partial thickness wounds then they will likely heal with minimal to no scarring with appropriate local wound care. If they are full thickness injuries, then they may require surgical intervention.

Some layers might help but I doubt they will ever be gone. Sorry have you discussed this with your surgeon? 

The most important thing you can do is to go see your doctor.  And ask them what's the best thing to do and what is the best dressing to put on the wounds. In general you want to keep wounds moist, because moist wounds heal faster than dry wounds. The other thing you might want to think about is not wearing a garment and putting additional pressure on the wounds. When you put on the garment especially if it's too tight and decrease blood supply to the skin and an injured skin needs as much blood supply is a can get.

I would start by seeing your board certified plastic surgeon and speaking to him or her. It would ask you if you had a regular liposuction or laser or ultrasonic liposuction.  But by all means it is far too soon to think you wil have burn scars which is why I would tell you to go back and speak to your surgeon this week even if only to reassure you.

There are two things that are
bothering you: first is the burn itself, and second are the burn marks. Well, the
advice to you is to handle the problems one at a time. Treat first the burn.
Apply burn ointments and make sure that your skin stays hydrated. Moisture is
important to heal the burns. Then, after the burns are healed, you can apply
scar removal creams. Make sure to use the appropriate cream depending upon the
type of pigmentation that appeared after healing the burns.
