Thank you for your question. I recommend you to discuss this with your PS because every surgeon has his/her own protocol. But, usually you need to take around 2 to 3 weeks out of work.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Thank you for your questions. Every surgeon has his or her own preference regarding a return to activity protocol. You should discuss your specific work duties with your chosen surgeon. Generally you would need to be off work about 2 weeks. You could probably return to light duty work after that and plan to be back at full duty within 4-6 weeks. Make sure you choose a surgeon who is ushering you through this process.Best of luck!Dallas R. Buchanan, MD, FACSOwner & Board-Certified Plastic SurgeonVIVIFY plastic surgery
Hello, thank you for the question.I personally recommend at least 4 weeks for recovery, just in case any thing happens. Remember, always safety first!!!Best of lucks.Dr. Luis Mejia
Hello, thank you for your question, every surgeon has their own opinion, and of course every patient has their own recovery time. I recommend my patients from 2 - 3 weeks to return to their normal activities, if those activities are easy ones. You should have a personal consult with a board certified plastic surgeon and meet your expectations.
Ten days to 2 weeks would be sufficient to recover from BBL surgery and return to work. Good luck.
Dear moreofamore,Recovery varies based on the patient, however you will need to avoid sitting directly on your butt for at least two weeks. We do provide a specialized pillow for limited sitting. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 7-10 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol. I also recommend not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. Remember that each doctor has their own protocol, it is very important that you talk to him and follow his instructions.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
You should be able to return to work 2-4 weeks following the BBL procedure. If you are a good candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), the optimal outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully,Arian Mowlavi MD,FACSRealself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
