I have a hernia in my stomach. Can I still get a bbl?

Question

So apparently i have a hernia in my stomach, can i still have a bbl or should i get rid of it first? If i do get rid of it first how long till i can get my bbl? N if i can get the bbl without getting rid of the hernia, how long till i can get rid of the hernia after bbl? Which is the better option to do? i really wanted to get the bbl asap.

If you have an abdominal wall hernia of any sort, this can be repaired and then the liposuction and BBL can be performed.Try to research this to find the surgeon who consistently produces the 
results you would expect.  Look at reviews on this site and see who gets the surgery right every time.  Find
 a  board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of Brazilian 
buttlifts each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's   
website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can

The hernia should be evaluated and treated prior to any sort of BBL procedure. Once the hernia has been taken care of you can move forward with your BBL procedure.

Almost all BBLs involve harvesting fat from the abdomen. It would be unsafe to do this with a known abdominal hernia. I suggest you consult with a general surgeon, get this repaired, and only consider BBL after the hernia surgery has completely healed. Your general surgeon would tell you when you are cleared for your BBL.

Hi there, and thanks for your question. I am glad you are asking and being careful. A hernia should really be evaluated and treated by a general surgeon before you attempt any liposuction procedure. When we perform BBLs usually we liposuction the front of the abdomen as one of the areas to harvest fat from and improve contour. Therefore, if you have a hernia in that area then you could possibly injure a loop of intestines. I really recommend investigating your hernia with a general surgeon and do this the right way. Then after that's been repaired you can consider your BBL in 3 to 6 months. I wish you all the best!
