As long as you are fully healed from your cesarean section, you should be able to remove excess superficial fat with Vanquish. However, the only way to determine candidacy for this effective fat-removal technique is to meet in person with a board-certified dermatologist. You need to be at a healthy weight to benefit from body-contouring with Vanquish or another technique, such as CoolSculpting, or liposuction.
This needs an in-person evaluation and depends on skin laxity, which most often occurs after pregnancy. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction, which can be performed at the same time as a tummy tuck, depending on skin laxity. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hello and thank you for your question. There is no contraindication to Vanquish ME and post childbirth as long as you are healed from your c-section. I would schedule a consult with an experienced provider to be evaluated to see if you are a good candidate. Hope this helps! Holly, RN
Thank you for your question. There is not a contraindication to having the Vanquish Me procedure following childbirth. It would be best to get an in-person consultation to determine if this is the best procedure for you. Depending on the degree of skin laxity, size reduction desired, etc. there may be other options that better meet your needs. I often combine Tickle Lipo and J Plasma in the post-pregnancy patient to get significant size reduction and skin tightening. For others, the Vanquish Me may be a great choice.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Thank you for your question, while it is usually uncommon to have pain after the procedure I have had patients experience "tenderness" without the lumps or bumps. The words "sore" and "tender" would be normal to hear, but "pain" and "extremely tender" may be something you want to follow up with....
Vanquish uses heat generated by invisible, radio frequency waves of energy to cause injury to fat cells in a similar manner that coolsculpting uses cold to injure fat cells. Both technologies affect 20-25% of the fat cells in the area of treatment but generally the area is much larger with the...
Thank you for your question. It is not true that Vanquish only diminishes the size of fat cells while CoolSculpting kills them. We have both devices in our office. We use Vanquish which uses the heat of radio frequency to destroy fat cells in a generalized way, followed by CoolSculpting to sp...
